Open Call 2023

How to Apply ?

Fill and submit your application by using the “apply now!” button. Send us a description of your practice (one written page or max. 2 min audio / video recording), a portfolio of previous works, a CV or link to your website and a one page description of the purpose of your stay and why this residency suits you (PDF format) plus the required materials and resources needed for your projects. Applications are accepted in English, Arabic and French. Questions about the application can be directed tomouhitspace@gmail.com.

Eligibility Criteria

We invite Tunisian artists based in Tunisia at all levels of their career to apply. Individuals, groups and collectives working in any media are welcome to apply. We also welcome artists with families to apply. 

We regret that we do not accept submissions for non Tunisian artists.

Expected Residency Output

The artist in residence will host an open studio exhibition at the end of the residency where they can share and exchange with the local community, expand their network and find new opportunities. 

Mouhit highly encourages artists in residence to offer community-oriented workshops on any topic over the course of their stay.
